25.03.1007 We forgot completely that the clocks went forward one hour last night... Luckily we were ready for our visitors anyway when they came! Nick had baked a red current cake which also tastes nice when it is still warm ;-).
We would like to thank all the people who've sent their best wishes, congratulations and presents on Sarah's birth! Here is a photo of some of the 42 cards we've received!
19.03.2007 Oma and Opa came to visit Sarah for the weekend! A few pictures can be found in the Photo Gallery on Sarah's webpage.
17.02.2007 Grandma, aunty Jo and cousins Josh and Dom have been over from the UK to visit Sarah and us. On Friday we went out for a lunch at the Herberg Vlietzigt, where we are going to celebrate our wedding in October. Sarah enjoyed all the attention and smiled a lot.
28.01.2007 We finally found some time to publish a few pictures of Sarah. Have a look in our photo gallery. Here is the link. This weekend Oma, Opa and uncle Stefan came to visit Sarah. They took her for her first walk outside in the pram!
18.01.2007 We are happy and proud to announce that our baby daughter Sarah Anne was born on Saturday, 13.01.2007, at 19:08 in the hospital in Delft! She weighed 3500g. Mother and daughter are well (and daddy, too) and were released from hospital on Monday. As soon as we find time between feeding and nappy changing we will publish some pictures of our little sunshine! If you want to contact us, please send an email or postcard rather than calling us as we might be catching up with sleep...
06.01.2007 We finally finished the baby's room! We put up pictures and Katja painted some "Janosch" animals on the walls. It was really time to finish the room as we only have four more days to the due date...
01.01.2007 HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL OF YOU!!! We spent a quiet New Year's Eve, eating bubble & squeak (couldn't be bothered to cook it on Boxing day...), playing Scrabble and lying on the sofa watching telly. Actually, quiet is not the right word as kids were playing with firecrackers the whole day and 0:00 was acoustically like being in the middle of a war. People here go really mad at New Year's Eve. But the fireworks were nice to watch.
